May is the peak of Magnolia-time in Lund and the Wisteria on the Palaestra et built in 1883 as a gymnastics hall and it was used this way for almost 100 years.

The Palestra has been called "the most important building in the history of college basketball" and "changed the entire history of the sport for which it was built." The arena originally seated about 10,000, but now seats 8,725 for basketball.

The building was designed by Helgo Zettervall and built in 1883. Previously, the botanical gardens were situated on this site and behind the façade lie the remains of the Orangery that once stood here dating from the mid-18th century. Palaestra et Odeum, designed by architect Helgo Zettervall, was built in 1883. It is classified as a listed building and owned by the National Property Board of Sweden. The building originally housed a gymnastics hall (palaestra) and concert hall (odeum). After a fire in the 1980s, the gymnastics hall was replaced by an auditorium, Paln and Palö: Palaestra auditorium lower and upper, Universitetsplatsen, Paradisgatan 4.

The meeting has been organised annually since 1992 and this year's meeting is the 22nd. CoLuAa is this year organized by the Biochemistry and Structure Biology department at Lund University and the MAX IV Laboratory. The meeting Hej everyone! So we had our graduation day two days back on the 29th of May. Though I am yet to finish my thesis, LTH lets you partake in this ceremony since we are international students. It was an awesome experience and was nice to see our international coordinators there to congratulate us on the Palaestra et Odeum.
